Level 1 of our Training Pipeline: Circle Keepers
The Restorative Justice Institute of Oklahoma exists to end the retributive and inequitable systems and cultures in Oklahoma. We are an institute that trains leaders in their context to lead restoratively by being trauma-informed, culturally competent, and able to navigate intrapersonal to macro systems. RJIOK is seeking to work with community members to disrupt the cycles of violence in the Oklahoma communities. These circles offer community members the opportunity to deal with their own problems in a holistic and restorative way without depending on police or outside agencies’ involvement. After completing the Circle Keeper training, you will be eligible to attend future RJIOK trainings to become an RJIOK-certified restorative justice facilitator.
